Who are we?
The Association for Promoting Research on Carbon Economy (APREC) is a non-profit association created by the Caisse des Dépôts and
the University Paris-Dauphine in June 2007. It is based in Paris, France.
The purpose of the association is to support and promote the development of research projects that investigate how regulatory devices, economic and financial tools, market-based mechanisms and other measures
may be used to tackle climate change.
APREC organizes research exchanges, produces and publishes surveys, finances research works and assures the diffusion of research and data. APREC is financed
by members’ subscriptions and by donations.
